What lemlist is

lemlist, launched in 2018, is an outbound sales platform from lempire, a Paris company that has taken no venture funding. Its plans cover a 650M+ lead database, email and phone finding, sequences across email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp, a shared inbox and email warm-up. Its pages speak to sales reps, sales leaders, founders and RevOps, and it counts 20,000+ customer teams. It sells an email-only plan priced by sending volume next to a multichannel plan priced per user.

A rep builds a list from the database, a CSV, a CRM or LinkedIn through the Chrome extension, then fills in emails and phones with credits. lemAgent can draft the campaign from a short brief. On Multichannel the sequence adds LinkedIn, call and SMS steps to email, branching on opens, clicks, accepted invites or a booked meeting, while lemwarm keeps mailboxes warm. Replies then land in the unified inbox, where AI flags interest and out-of-office answers and the rep replies, sets a status or moves the lead on.

What sets it apart is breadth under one login: data, five channels, warm-up on every paid plan, AI agents and an MCP server for outside assistants. Where it stops is mostly the pricing model. LinkedIn, calls and the unified inbox need the per-user plan, each LinkedIn account takes its own paid user and Chrome profile, the Email plan includes no data credits, and a team cannot move between Email and Multichannel from the app. AI drafts replies on request, and a person reviews and sends them.

Choose lemlist if

  • Your team calls, texts or writes on WhatsApp: lemlist runs all three from its Multichannel sequences, WhatsApp as an add-on, and GetSales has no phone finder and no dialer
  • You want email warm-up and a deliverability hub built in: lemwarm comes with every plan
  • You send email only and want any number of users and mailboxes for one price by volume, from $69 a month billed monthly
  • You want signals beyond the people you write to: 30+ types, from hiring and funding to new accounts

Key features

What lemlist does

Its main features under lemlist's own names, from its own pages read on 27 October 2026.

  • 650M+ Lead Database

Search the database with AI-assisted filters for role, industry, headcount, tech stack or hiring, then add accounts and people straight to a campaign instead of importing lists from another tool.

    All plans
  • Email Finder & Verifier and Phone Number Finder

Waterfall enrichment asks several data providers in turn. A verified email costs 5 credits and a phone number 20, charged on a result, though a risky email or a wrong number still counts.

    All plans, paid in credits
  • Multichannel Sequences

One campaign mixes email, LinkedIn, call, SMS and WhatsApp steps, with conditions on opens, clicks, accepted invites or a booked meeting, plus A/B tests, Liquid Syntax and custom images per lead.

Email steps on all plans, the other channels on Multichannel and Enterprise, WhatsApp as an add-on
  • LinkedIn Prospecting

Profile visits, follows, invites with a note, messages, InMail from a LinkedIn Premium sender and recorded or AI voice messages, run from your own personal LinkedIn account through the Chrome extension.

    Multichannel and Enterprise
  • In-app Calling and Power Dialer

Call leads from Tasks over built-in VoIP or through Aircall and Ringover, with a power dialer, AI call summaries and 400 included minutes per user a month, 800 on Enterprise.

    Multichannel and Enterprise
  • Unified Inbox

Conversations a lemlist campaign started sit in one thread per lead, across mailboxes and channels. You reply by email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or SMS, filter by teammate, set a status or push it to another campaign.

    Multichannel and Enterprise
  • lemwarm and Deliverability Hub

lemwarm warms each mailbox by trading real emails with real inboxes. The Deliverability Hub shows warm-up and placement health per mailbox and domain, with DNS checks, placement tests, alerts and inbox rotation.

All paid plans, not the trial
  • lemAgent

A chat assistant that finds leads from an ICP description, writes the campaign and its copy, reads results and drafts inbox replies. You approve each step, and use has a daily workspace limit.

    Email, Multichannel and Enterprise
  • Intent Signal Agents

Agents watch 30+ signals such as website visits, job changes, hiring, funding or engagement with LinkedIn posts, then create a task, update the lead or add it to a campaign.

All plans, paid in credits or with the Buying intent signals add-on from $29 a month
  • lemlist MCP and CLI

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP client with your API key to search and enrich leads, build sequences and read campaign results. The CLI runs the same work from a terminal.

Add-ons
More mailboxes at $9 each a month, WhatsApp at $20 per user a month, a phone number at $15 a month, buying signals from $29 a month for 100.
Credits
Multichannel includes 400 per user a month, reset each month, and the Email plan includes none. More from $20 a month for 2,000. An email found costs 5, a phone number 20, an SMS 6.
Credit rules
Credits you subscribe to roll over while that add-on runs, and expire at the next anniversary once you cancel it. Credits you bought are not refunded.
Plan changes
Email and Multichannel cannot be switched within a team from the app: support moves you, or you open a new team and move your contacts by hand.
Term
Renews by itself on the same basis. You can cancel any time, with no refund for a month or year already begun, even pro rata.
Trial
14 days, no card: Multichannel's features but in-app calls, 200 credits once, 50 emails a day. Then Freemium, which sends nothing.

Pros and cons

Where lemlist is strong, and where it falls short

From what reviewers write on review sites and forums, and from lemlist's own pages, read on 27 October 2026. Each page is listed under the prices.

Pros

  • Fast to a first campaign

G2's summary leads with ease of use, and on Product Hunt one reviewer had a first campaign running in about 20 minutes while another said building a sequence needs no long technical setup.

  • Fast support, a person behind it

Support is the most praised theme on Trustpilot. Reviews from September and October 2026 describe fast answers, an AI bot that hands over to a person, and replies within one business day.

  • Personalization beyond first names

G2's summary credits automated, personalized outreach, and a Product Hunt reviewer puts each prospect's company details and logo into a dynamic image. Liquid Syntax and custom images come on every plan.

  • Email and LinkedIn in one sequence

Product Hunt reviewers single out invites and LinkedIn messages running in the same sequence as email, and G2's summary names the Gmail and LinkedIn integrations as a main benefit.

  • Warm-up in the price

lemwarm and the Deliverability Hub come with every paid plan rather than as a separate subscription, so mailbox warm-up and health checks are not billed on top.

  • Email plan not priced per user

The Email plan charges by monthly sending volume, from $69 for 50,000 emails, with any number of users and sender mailboxes, which suits email-only teams that keep adding reps.

Cons

  • Credits get expensive

G2's summary names the credit system as costly. The Email plan includes no credits, a phone number costs 20 credits even when it is wrong, and AI contact sourcing bills per company even if nobody is found.

  • Every LinkedIn account a paid user

A lemlist user connects one LinkedIn account. Three profiles means three paid Multichannel users at $109 each a month on monthly billing, and three separate Chrome profiles kept logged in.

  • The interface takes learning

G2's summary calls the interface confusing at times, two Product Hunt reviewers find interface updates hard to keep up with, and a January 2026 Trustpilot review calls multichannel workflow setup complex and slow.

  • Cancellation and billing complaints

Three one and two star Trustpilot reviews from 2024 and 2025 describe charges after cancelling. Plans renew by themselves with no refund for a period begun, and the credit add-on is cancelled separately.

  • Plans that do not mix

Email and Multichannel cannot run in one team or be switched from the app. Support moves you, or you open a new team and move contacts and unsubscribes by hand.

  • AI writing feels thin

G2's summary says reviewers find AI message creation underdeveloped. lemAgent's own help page warns that vague prompts give generic copy, every step waits for your approval, and use stops at a daily workspace limit.

Ratings read on 27 October 2026: G2 4.6 of 5 from 2,094 reviews, Trustpilot 4.7 of 5 from 254 reviews, Product Hunt 4.5 of 5 from 22 reviews

GetSales in action

Describe who you sell to, and GetSales finds the people and their work emails, writes the first lines and sends the steps from your own LinkedIn and email accounts.

Sample run of GetSales. Creator hears one sentence by voice and plans the run: AI Search finds heads of sales at UK SaaS companies, the table fills with a work email, an AI score and a first line for each person, the workflow is built and starts on a spoken yes, the AI SDR is set up and drafts a reply that waits for approval, and Signals shows each new event with what it led to or what to switch on.

Questions

About lemlist

Each answer from lemlist's own pages, read on 27 October 2026.

How much does lemlist cost?

lemlist sells two plans to new customers, and Enterprise by quote. On monthly billing the Email plan costs $69 a month for 50,000 emails, up to $659 for 1,000,000, with no LinkedIn, calls or included credits. Multichannel costs $109 per user a month and adds LinkedIn, calls and SMS, 5 mailboxes per user and 400 credits per user a month. Quarterly billing takes 10% off and yearly 20%. More mailboxes are $9 each a month, WhatsApp $20 per user a month and more credits from $20 a month. All read on lemlist's pricing page and help center on 27 October 2026. GetSales prices LinkedIn accounts, email capacity and data credits, billed monthly, with no per-user fees, on the pricing page.

Does lemlist have a free trial or a free plan?

A trial, and a free plan that sends nothing. The trial runs 14 days with no card, on Multichannel's features except in-app calls, with 200 credits once and up to 50 emails a day, and lemwarm is not part of it. The Email plan has no trial. When the trial ends, or a paid plan is cancelled, the account moves to Freemium, which keeps your data but launches no campaigns. Read on lemlist's help center on 27 October 2026. Sign up free: Playtables stay free with your own API keys, and LinkedIn and email come with a 7-day trial.

What do reviews say about lemlist?

We read G2's own summary of lemlist's reviews, dated May 2026, and the reviews on Trustpilot in October 2026, and kept only the complaints that come back across many of them. G2's summary names the credit system as expensive and the interface as confusing at times. Slow support and bugs come back on Trustpilot. On Trustpilot, several reviews since July 2024 describe charges after a cancellation, or a hard time cancelling. lemlist's terms renew a plan by itself and refund no month or year already begun, and its help center says the credit add-on is cancelled apart from the plan, so check both before you leave.

What do lemlist's credits pay for?

Data and some channels. An email found and verified costs 5 credits, a phone number 20, a LinkedIn enrichment 1, an SMS 6 and a calling minute from 4. Email and phone finds are charged only on a result, but a phone number that turns out wrong is still charged, and AI contact sourcing is charged per company even when nobody is found. Multichannel includes 400 credits per user a month, reset each month, and the Email plan includes none. When credits run out, enrichment stops until you restart it by hand. From lemlist's help center, updated 6 October 2026, read on 27 October 2026.
