Which one fits

GetSales or Cognism,
in plain terms

Choose GetSales if

  • Yes: You write to people on LinkedIn and email, and want the steps, the inbox and the replies in one app
  • Yes: You want published prices, billed monthly, with no per-user fees
  • Yes: You want to pay for a work email only when one is delivered, and see each step it tried
  • Yes: You want each answer to a reply drafted by the AI SDR, sent on its own or held for your OK as each scenario sets

Stay with Cognism if

  • Yes: Your team calls as much as it writes: Cognism sells phone-verified mobiles, and GetSales has no phone finder and no dialer
  • Yes: You call into Europe and want numbers on Do Not Call registries flagged and hidden: it screens 16 countries, most of them European
  • Yes: You want a database to search by role, technology, hiring and funding, and on Pro by intent, not only signals from the people you write to
  • Yes: You want your CRM kept current: its CRM Enrichment keeps a record up to date and spends a credit again only when key details change, such as a job move

Why teams switch

From the search
to the reply

  1. From one sentence to the steps

AI Search finds the people from one sentence, and the ones who fit go straight from the table into a workflow, LinkedIn and email steps in one flow. Nothing to export to a second tool.

  2. A path for each person

Accepted, they get a LinkedIn message. Not accepted after five days, an email from the sender's mailbox. A reply on either channel pauses their steps by default.

  3. Where each person stands

The table shows each person's stage, the step they are on and how the AI SDR labelled their reply, on the same row as their work email.

Sample run of GetSales. Creator hears one sentence by voice and plans the run: AI Search finds heads of sales at UK SaaS companies, the table fills with a work email, an AI score and a first line for each person, the workflow is built and starts on a spoken yes, the AI SDR is set up and drafts a reply that waits for approval, and Signals shows each new event with what it led to or what to switch on.

Curious which one you rolled back. In our experience the shared call list goes first.

It was the shared call list. Nobody owned an account after week two.

Pricing

How Cognism
prices in 2026

Cognism publishes no price: both of its prospecting packages end in a quote. Here is what its own pages say you buy, what spends a credit and the terms that come with it.

GetSales prices LinkedIn accounts, email capacity and data credits, billed monthly, with no per-user fees. The figures are on our pricing page.

See GetSales pricing

From Cognism's own pages, 27 October 2026

Plans
Sales Prospecting in two packages, Standard and Pro, each with 5 seats included. CRM Enrichment as an add-on or on its own, and data by API.
Price
No figure on the page, only a personalised quote.
Pro adds
Intent data, the premium mobile filter, on-demand mobile verification and enhanced dashboards, none of them on Standard.
Users
Each licence goes to one person, and logins are not shared. Moving a licence to someone else is at Cognism's discretion.
Credits
Each seat comes with credits, the number not on the page, and more can be bought. One is spent per contact revealed, saved, exported or enriched, and again when that contact changes jobs.
Legacy plans
Its older platform's fair usage limit is 2,000 contact views and 2,000 exports per user a month, with credits for exports above it. Those credits expire at the end of the term, with no rollover and no refund.
Renewal
An order renews by itself for its own length or a year, whichever is longer, unless notice is given at least 60 days before it ends. A renewal can cost up to 10% more.
Refunds
Payment is "non-cancellable" and fees "non-refundable", except on termination for cause and a few other cases its terms name. Leaving for another provider takes 60 days' written notice and no switching charge, but the term's fees stay due.
Trial
No self-serve trial on its pages: a free sample of 25 leads within 72 hours, or a proof of concept set in an order, its data deleted at the end.

Questions

About Cognism
and GetSales

Anything else, ask our AI sales agent.

Talk to AI Sales
What are the best Cognism alternatives?

It depends on why you are leaving. On Trustpilot, read in October 2026, the complaint Cognism's customers repeat is contact details out of date, wrong or missing. For data, these names come up: ZoomInfo (an all-in-one GTM platform with intent and agent teams), Apollo.io (240M+ contacts, AI agents and a dialer), Lusha (data for teams and AI agents), UpLead (verified emails, mobile numbers and intent data), Clay (200+ data vendors in AI workflows) and 6sense (an ABM platform on signals). For LinkedIn and email from one app there is GetSales, with no phone finder and no dialer. Each line is from the vendor's homepage, read on 27 October 2026.

How much does Cognism cost?

Cognism publishes no price: its pricing page offers a personalised quote for two prospecting packages, Standard and Pro, each with 5 seats included, and CRM Enrichment as an add-on. Pro adds intent data and on-demand mobile verification. Each seat comes with credits, one spent per contact revealed and again when that contact changes jobs. Its terms renew an order by itself for its own length or a year, whichever is longer, unless notice is given at least 60 days before the end, allow a renewal up to 10% dearer and keep fees non-refundable. All read on cognism.com on 27 October 2026. GetSales publishes its prices on the pricing page.

Does Cognism have a free trial or a free plan?

No free plan, and no trial you can start yourself, on its own pages. Its pricing page leads to a quote, and its page for smaller teams offers a free sample of 25 leads within 72 hours. Its terms for a proof of concept set one up in an order, and when it ends the data obtained in it must be deleted. Read on cognism.com on 27 October 2026. Sign up free: Playtables stay free with your own API keys, and LinkedIn and email come with a 7-day trial. GetSales' prices are on the pricing page.

What is Cognism?

Cognism calls its data "Europe's most trusted B2B data": contacts and companies to search, with emails, mobiles and signals such as hiring, funding, job changes and, on Pro, Bombora intent topics. Its phone-verified mobiles carry a diamond icon, and numbers on Do Not Call registries in 16 countries are flagged and hidden. It sells Sales Prospecting, CRM Enrichment and data by API, plus an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT. On Pro you can send a contact for on-demand mobile verification, and its help center puts verification rates at around 10 to 15% for UK contacts and 15 to 20% for US ones. It is sold per seat, with credits, by quote. Read on cognism.com and its help center on 27 October 2026.

How does Cognism compare with UpLead?

Both sell B2B contact data with emails and mobile numbers, and the plainest difference is the price. UpLead publishes its own: Essentials at $99 a month billed monthly with 170 credits, Plus at $199 with 400, $74 and $149 a month billed annually, Professional on annual billing only with custom seats and credits, and a 7-day trial with 5 credits. Cognism publishes none and sells two packages by quote, with 5 seats in each. Each describes its data its own way: UpLead 200M+ leads with a 95%+ accuracy guarantee, Cognism decision-makers refreshed every 30 days and phone-verified mobiles. Read on uplead.com and cognism.com on 27 October 2026.

How does Cognism compare with Clay?

They do different jobs. Cognism is a database: you search its contacts and companies and spend a credit on each contact you reveal, at a quoted price. Clay is a workspace that brings data from 200+ vendors into tables with AI workflows, and it publishes its prices: a free plan, Launch at $185 a month and Growth at $495 on monthly billing, and Enterprise by quote. Read on cognism.com and clay.com on 27 October 2026. In GetSales a Playtable finds and checks each work email, and Workflows run the LinkedIn and email steps in the same app. More on Clay on its own page.

How does Cognism compare with 6sense?

They overlap on signals and differ in what comes first. 6sense calls itself an ABM platform powered by revenue intelligence: its pricing page sells Sales Intelligence with data credits, predictive AI or both, with third-party intent, web visitor identification and job postings. It shows no price and asks you to book a demo. Cognism is a contact database first, with phone-verified mobiles and Do Not Call screening, and takes its intent from Bombora on Pro, up to 12 topics from more than 11,000. It shows no price either. Read on 6sense.com and cognism.com on 27 October 2026. GetSales' Signals cover intent topics, job changes and website visitors.

Does Cognism send emails or LinkedIn messages?

Not on its own pages. Cognism finds the data and hands the sending to other tools: it exports to Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Pipedrive and Bullhorn, and adds contacts to Outreach sequences or Salesloft cadences. On LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter pages its Chrome extension reveals a person's contact details, for a credit. Read on its help center on 27 October 2026. In GetSales, connection requests with a note, messages, InMail and profile visits run from your own LinkedIn account in one workflow with the email steps, the replies from both land in one inbox, and the AI SDR drafts each answer.

Can I move from Cognism to GetSales?

Yes, as a CSV. Export your list from Cognism, where each contact revealed or exported spends one of its credits, and a CSV of up to 50 MB maps onto your table's columns. A person already in any table of your workspace is not added again, and people on your stoplist are marked Stoplisted and never contacted. There is no Cognism integration in GetSales: the list comes in as a file. Cognism's terms let you keep using contact data stored on your own systems before the term ends, under the laws that apply, and leaving for another provider takes 60 days' written notice, with the term's fees still due. Cognism's side was read on its own pages on 27 October 2026.
