Workflows

The sales engagement platform with a path for each lead.

LinkedIn and email steps in one flow, sent from your own sender profile. It waits for what each person does, and by default a reply pauses their steps.

Sample of a workflow in GetSales. A profile visit and a connection request with a note, then a wait of up to 5 days: a LinkedIn message and a follow-up if it is accepted, an email and a follow-up email if it is not, each follow-up after a 3 day wait and skipped on a reply. The workflow waits for your OK, then starts, and every step shows what it sent, who accepted, opened or replied, with the rate.

How it runs

What a running
workflow decides

  1. Who goes in, and how many

Auto-add takes in whoever joins its view or filter. Set how many may be in at once, and how many from one company. The rest wait their turn.

  2. Who sends to whom

By default, Fair balance spreads people evenly over the workflow's sender profiles. Or each person gets a sender new to them, or one they talked to.

  3. When it sends

Pick the days and hours it sends, such as Mon to Fri, 9 to 18. With Follow the person's timezone on, 9 means 9 where they are, when their zone is known.

  4. Shared sender profiles

Give each workflow a priority. High gets three of the sender profile's actions for every one of low, and low still gets its share.

  5. What a reply does

When a person answers on either channel, every workflow they are in pauses for them by default, not just the one that wrote.

Talk to AI Sales
What is a sales engagement platform?

A sales engagement platform, or sales engagement software, runs outbound sales as sequences: steps on one or more channels, with waits between them, until the person replies. In GetSales a workflow puts LinkedIn and email steps in one flow, branches on what each person does and sends every reply to one team inbox.

What is a sales engagement strategy?

A plan for who you contact, on which channel, in what order, and what happens when they answer. Start with the people and the reason you write to each of them, then space the touches a few days apart, such as a connection request, a LinkedIn message and an email or two, and decide what a reply does before the first send. In GetSales that plan is one workflow. Build it step by step, or tell Creator who you sell to: it builds the workflow with its texts and asks you before starting it.

What is the difference between a sales engagement platform and a CRM?

A CRM records the deal. A sales engagement platform runs the outreach that starts it: the steps, the waits, the follow-ups and the replies. In GetSales the people and their pipeline stage sit in your tables, so a workflow can move a person to a stage, tag them or set a field as it runs, and an API call step can send them on to your CRM.

Can one sequence mix LinkedIn and email?

Yes. One workflow holds steps on both channels. A wait for the accept splits the people: those who accept the connection request get a LinkedIn message, the rest get an email. Each person is matched to one of the workflow's sender profiles on entry, so the request and the email come from the same sender, until a Rotate sender step moves them to another. That sender profile's LinkedIn account sends the LinkedIn steps and its mailboxes send the emails (how many mailboxes depends on your email capacity).

What happens to the follow-ups when someone replies?

By default a reply pauses that person in every live workflow, unless a workflow is set to Continue the sequence, and lands in Unibox, the unified inbox, beside the replies from every other account. Each workflow's After a reply setting decides what follows. By default it hands the reply to the AI SDR, which gives it one of 15 labels, such as Interested, Not now, Wrong person or Out of office, plus one of yours when it fits. Once its Brief is written and it is live, it drafts an answer, and each scenario sets whether it sends on its own or waits for your OK. An auto-reply hands the person back to their workflow at once, and a reply that says nothing, such as a plain "thanks", gets one short answer before the workflow's steps resume. Stop, I reply myself leaves the thread to you.

Can I change a workflow while it is running?

Yes, and nothing stops while you do. You edit a draft beside the live version, and publishing it starts the new version for whoever enters after that. Anyone already in finishes on the version they entered with. A step with a delay is planned the moment a person reaches it, and its text waits in the person's card, ready to review and edit before it goes. Every version is kept, and any one can be restored to the draft.

What does a workflow show while it runs?

Every step shows what it did: the tasks completed and in progress, then its conversions with their rates, such as accepted for a connection request and replied for an email, with opened and clicked once the mailbox has a verified tracking domain. A wait shows how many people are in it now.

Does a workflow work with my other tools?

Yes, through an API call step. It sends the person to any tool with an API, signed with a key saved in Settings when the tool needs one, and later steps can branch on what it answered. Paste a cURL to fill it in, and Try it sends the request for one person, for real, before you publish. Events, such as a person entering, finishing or pausing a workflow, and the messages sent and received, can also post to your own URL as signed webhooks, set up through the API or the MCP server.

Do new LinkedIn accounts warm up?

Yes. A new LinkedIn account gets a gradual ramp. A sender profile that needs your attention is marked on every workflow it sends for, and the Sender profiles page shows what is wrong and who fixes it.

Does a workflow spend credits?

Not for sending: LinkedIn and email steps go out from your sender profiles, paid for as LinkedIn accounts and email capacity on your plan. Credits go on AI work and columns: an Ask AI step, a Run column step at that column's rate, and the AI SDR's work on each reply while After a reply hands the replies to the AI SDR, as it does by default. Sign up free: Playtables stay free with your own API keys, and LinkedIn and email come with a 7-day trial. What a credit costs is on the pricing page.
