PlaytablesEmail verification
Email verification for the addresses your list already has.
Each address on your list is checked and marked Deliverable, Catch-all domain or Not verified.
How it works
A bulk email verifier
inside your table
Set it once in the column's settings, and every address on the list gets its verdict.
Bring your list
Import a CSV into a table. A column named email or work_email lands on each person's work email, and an address typed into the cell counts too.
Add the column
Add Find work email. Its first step, Use existing email if available, takes the address the row already carries.
Pick a verifier
Remove the finders and the column only checks, so it asks for a verifier before it saves. Keep them and a failed address is searched for again.
Run it
Save and run on the rows you pick. With Auto-update on, each row that enters the table is checked by itself.
Filter by the verdict
Filter the table by Email status to keep Not verified rows out of a send. The export carries the status beside each address.
When an address fails
Check first,
then find
An address that fails the check is replaced by a found one that passes.
- Valid: the address stays, marked Deliverable
- Catch-all: accepted by default, and marked
- Invalid or unknown: the next finder runs
With no finder, a failed address stays on its row, marked Not verified. Nothing is deleted.

Beside the score
and the first line
Verification is one setting of Find work email, so a checked address sits in the same row as the person's AI score and first line.
How do I find and verify a work email address?
Add the Find work email column to a table and pick a verifier. It checks the address the row already carries first, and a valid one is kept with no search. Where the row has no address, or its address fails, the finders search one after another, and each address they return is checked before it lands. The email finder page has the search in full.
What is email verification?
A check that an address will accept mail, made without sending a message to it. In GetSales a verifier answers for each address with one of four verdicts, Valid, Invalid, Unknown or Catch-all, and the row is marked by what it said.
How does email verification work?
The verifier answers Valid, Invalid, Unknown or Catch-all. Valid keeps the address and marks it Deliverable. Catch-all is accepted and marked Catch-all domain while Accept catch-all emails is on, which is the default. Invalid and Unknown fail the check, and so does a verifier that could not answer: the next finder runs if there is one, otherwise the address stays on the row, marked Not verified.
Why is email verification important?
An address that does not exist bounces, and a high email bounce rate hurts the mailbox that sent the message. Checking the list first tells you which addresses to keep out: filter the table by Email status and leave the Not verified rows out of the send.
Can I verify emails in bulk?
Yes. Import the list as a CSV, add Find work email, remove the finders and pick a verifier. Save and run checks the rows you pick, the whole table included, and with Auto-update on each new row is checked as it enters the table.
Can I check the emails my list already has?
Yes. Remove every finder from the Find work email column and it only checks the addresses your rows already carry. A found address is checked free as part of its find. An address you brought is checked at the verifier's own rate.
What happens to an address that fails?
It stays on the row, marked Not verified: nothing is deleted, and the cell's Log shows what the verifier said. Keep the finders after the row's own address and a replacement is searched for. A found address that passes takes its place.
What is a catch-all address?
An address on a domain that accepts every incoming email, so a message to it may still bounce. By default the column accepts it, stops there and marks it Catch-all domain. Switch that off and the next finder runs, or, with no finder left, the cell says Not verified.
What does email verification cost?
An address your row already carries is checked at the verifier's rate. One already marked Deliverable is accepted with no check and no charge, and a row with no address costs nothing. When a finder replaces a failed address, the find is one credit with its check included. What a credit costs is on the pricing page.
