PlaytablesEmail finder
An email finder tool that searches every name on your list.
A name and a company in, a work email out. One finder after another, and a miss costs nothing.
How it works
From a name
to a work email
Set it once in the column's settings. After that it runs on every new row by itself.
Add the column
Add Find work email to a table. It reads each person's full name, company name, company domain and LinkedIn profile from the row.
Set the order
A new column starts with the row's own address, then the finders. Drag them into any order.
Pick a verifier
Pick a verifier and every address a finder returns is checked before it lands. A rejected one is dropped, and the next finder runs.
Leave it on
With Auto-update on, each row that enters the table is searched by itself. Only run if keeps it to the people who fit.
What it reads
Name and company,
or a LinkedIn profile
The column reads four things from each row: the full name, the company name, the company domain and the LinkedIn profile. Each finder uses the ones it can search on.
- A full name with the company name or domain
- Or the LinkedIn profile alone, enough for one of the finders
- A finder with nothing to read is skipped

How do I find someone's work email?
Put the person in a table with their full name and company name, or their LinkedIn profile, and add the Find work email column, the table's B2B email finder. It asks one finder after another until one returns an address. Pick a verifier and each address is checked before it lands.
How do I find a work email address, step by step?
Add the Find work email column to a table. Check the four inputs it reads from each row: full name, company name, company domain and LinkedIn. Drag the finders into the order you want, pick a verifier if every address should be checked, then save and run. With Auto-update on, each new row is searched by itself.
Can I find a work email from a LinkedIn profile?
Yes. The person's LinkedIn profile is one of the column's four inputs, with the full name, the company name and the company domain, and one of the finders can search on the profile alone. So the column works as a LinkedIn email finder too.
Does the email finder check each address?
Yes, once you pick a verifier in the column's settings. Every address a finder returns is then checked before it lands: a valid one is accepted and the chain stops, an invalid or unknown one is rejected and the next finder runs. A catch-all address is accepted and marked Catch-all, unless you switch that off. The check of a found address is included in its credit.
How do I find someone's email address from their name?
Give the column the full name with the company name or the company domain. A name alone is not enough for a finder to search on, and a row with nothing a finder can use is skipped.
How many emails will it find?
It depends on the list and on what each row carries. A finder searches on the inputs it can use, a row with none it can use is skipped, and each next finder in your order tries only where the ones before it found nothing accepted. A miss costs nothing, and the cell's Log shows where each search stopped.
What does a work email cost?
One credit per address found and delivered. A miss costs nothing, an address the verifier rejects costs nothing, and the check of a found address is included. An address your row already had is checked at the verifier's rate. What a credit costs is on the pricing page.
Can I find an email address for free?
Not one that is found: an address found and delivered costs one credit. A search that finds nothing is free, and so is an address the verifier rejects, so you never pay for a miss.
Does it use the email my list already has?
Yes, by default. The row's own address is the first step, so a row that already has one is answered by it and no finder runs. With a verifier, that address is checked first, at the verifier's rate, unless it is already marked deliverable. Drag that step to the end, or remove it, and the finders search first. A found address replaces the one on the row only when it ranks higher, a verified one over an unchecked one.
What happens when no email is found?
The cell says Nothing found and nothing is charged. The cell's Log shows which finders were asked.
