WorkflowsMultichannel sequences

Multichannel outreach in one sales sequence.

LinkedIn for those who accept, email for the rest. By default a reply pauses the follow‑ups.

Sample of a workflow in GetSales. A profile visit and a connection request with a note, then a wait of up to 5 days: a LinkedIn message and a follow-up if it is accepted, an email and a follow-up email if it is not, each follow-up after a 3 day wait and skipped on a reply. The workflow waits for your OK, then starts, and every step shows what it sent, who accepted, opened or replied, with the rate.

How it works

One sequence,
built step by step

In GetSales a sequence is a workflow: steps that run top-down for each person who enters, on LinkedIn and email.

  1. Choose who enters

People enter from a view, a filter, an event or by hand. With auto-add on, anyone who later joins the view or matches the filter enters too, checked every 10 minutes.

  2. Put both channels in one sequence

A connection request with a note, a LinkedIn message, InMail, an email from the sender's mailbox, with waits, tasks and AI steps between them.

  3. Wait for what they do

A wait can hold until the invite is accepted, the email is opened or a link is clicked, with a time limit. Each outcome gets its own next step.

  4. Branch or split test

A condition sends people down 1 to 9 branches by filters, plus an else. An A/B test splits them across 2 to 9 weighted versions, and each person keeps theirs.

  5. Send from your sender profiles

Each person gets one sender profile when they enter, and keeps it unless a Rotate sender step hands them to another. LinkedIn steps go out from its account, emails from its mailboxes, inside the workflow's sending window.

Two paths, one sequence

Waits and follow-ups
on each path

On each path a wait holds people for 3 days, then a follow‑up goes out on the same channel as the first touch. Each follow‑up counts its own sends and replies.

  • Sent, accepted, opened, clicked and replied, with the rate
  • A wait shows how many people are in it now
  • A follow‑up is skipped for anyone who replied, by default

After a reply

You choose what
a reply does

Each workflow has one setting for it. Three of its four choices pause the person in that workflow, and their card shows where they stopped.

  • AI SDR, Co‑pilot or Auto‑pilot: the AI SDR takes it
  • Each scenario sets if its answer waits for your OK
  • Stop, I reply myself: the thread is yours

Continue the sequence keeps sending to that person.

What is multichannel outreach?

Multichannel outreach reaches the same person on more than one channel, as one plan. In GetSales it is one sequence with LinkedIn and email steps: a connection request, a wait for the accept, then a LinkedIn message to the people who accept and an email to the rest. By default, a reply on either channel pauses the steps that were still to come.

What is a sales sequence?

A sales sequence is a set of steps with waits between them that each person goes through until they reply or the steps run out. In GetSales a sequence is a workflow: up to 100 steps, run top-down for each person who enters, with branches that send different people down different paths.

How do I run LinkedIn and email outreach in one sequence?

Build one workflow with steps on both channels. A common shape: visit the profile, send a connection request with a note, wait up to 5 days for the accept, then send a LinkedIn message to those who accept and an email to those who don't. LinkedIn steps go out from the sender profile's own account and emails from its mailboxes, inside the workflow's sending window.

What are the top platforms for email and LinkedIn outreach?

Look for one sequence over both channels rather than one tool for each, waits that follow what each person does, a reply on either channel that pauses the rest, and sends from your own accounts. GetSales does each of these in one workflow, and the replies from both channels land in one inbox, Unibox.

What's the best multichannel prospecting tool?

The one that keeps the list, the sequence and the replies in one place. In GetSales the people come from AI Search into a table, a workflow reaches them on LinkedIn and email, and the replies land in Unibox, where the AI SDR drafts the answer. Count how many tools that loop takes you today.

What happens when someone replies?

Each workflow has one setting for it, After a reply. By default it pauses the person's steps and hands the reply to the AI SDR, which drafts the answer from your sender profile and hands you any thread it should not answer alone. Each scenario sets whether the answer goes out on its own or waits for your OK. Stop, I reply myself pauses them and leaves the thread to you. Continue the sequence keeps sending. A reply reaches every live sequence of that person, each by its own setting.

Can I A/B test my emails and LinkedIn messages?

Yes. An A/B test step splits people across 2 to 9 versions, each with a relative weight, and puts its own steps under each, such as a different email or opener. Each person keeps the version they got, even on a re-run, and each version's steps show their own sent, opened and replied counts.

Can I change a sequence while it runs?

Yes, for the people who enter next. Publish a new version and the people who enter from then on get it, while everyone already in keeps the version they started with, so nobody's path changes halfway.

Which accounts send the steps?

The workflow's sender profiles. Each person gets one sender profile when they enter, and keeps it unless a Rotate sender step hands them to another. LinkedIn steps go out from its LinkedIn account, emails from its mailboxes. With several sender profiles, pick how people are shared: Fair balance, the default, A new sender, Prior engagement first, or Random. Every send is paced within each account's limits.

Does a sequence spend credits?

Sending does not: LinkedIn and email steps go out from your sender profiles, which the plan covers. An Ask AI step or a Run column step spends what that AI work or column spends, and so does the AI SDR's work on each reply while After a reply hands the replies to the AI SDR, as it does by default. What a credit costs is on the pricing page.

Both channels

One sequence, two channels.

LinkedIn for the people who accept, email for the rest, each person on their own path.

Two channels. Every step counted.
