Which one fits

GetSales or Clay,
in plain terms

Choose GetSales if

  • Yes: You want the people, the work emails, the LinkedIn and email steps and the replies in one app
  • Yes: You would rather describe your buyers in one sentence than build a table column by column
  • Yes: You want one credit balance, and an edit that never re-runs the rows already paid for
  • Yes: You want each answer drafted by the AI SDR, sent on its own or held for your OK as each scenario sets

Stay with Clay if

  • Yes: Your work is the data itself: 150+ providers in one marketplace, phone numbers included
  • Yes: You need CRM and data warehouse sync, or audiences pushed to ad platforms, from its Growth plan
  • Yes: You shape columns with formulas, custom functions and Claygent's web research
  • Yes: Your sending already runs in tools you like, and you want Clay to feed them

Why teams switch

From the search
to the reply

  1. From one sentence to the steps

AI Search finds the people from one sentence, and the ones who fit go straight from the table into a workflow, LinkedIn and email steps in one flow. Nothing to export between tools.

  2. Where each person stands

The table shows each person's stage, the step they are on and how the AI SDR labelled their reply, on the same row as their work email.

  3. Replies answered as you set

The AI SDR reads each reply and drafts the answer, and each scenario sets whether it sends on its own or waits for your OK.

Sample run of GetSales. Creator hears one sentence by voice and plans the run: AI Search finds heads of sales at UK SaaS companies, the table fills with a work email, an AI score and a first line for each person, the workflow is built and starts on a spoken yes, the AI SDR is set up and drafts a reply that waits for approval, and Signals shows each new event with what it led to or what to switch on.

Curious which one you rolled back. In our experience the shared call list goes first.

It was the shared call list. Nobody owned an account after week two.

Pricing

What Clay
costs in 2026

Clay publishes its prices: a free plan, Launch and Growth with a monthly price, and Enterprise by quote. A paid plan is two amounts added up, one for actions and one for data credits, each bought in tiers, and users and tables are unlimited on every plan. Its own figures, billed monthly:

GetSales prices LinkedIn accounts, email capacity and data credits, each on its own, and one credit balance pays for the data and the AI work. The figures are on our pricing page.

See GetSales pricing

From Clay's own pages, 26 October 2026

Free
$0, with 500 actions and 100 data credits a month, up to 200 rows per table, no phone numbers.
Launch
$185 a month: $60 for 15,000 actions and $125 for 2,500 data credits. Billed annually, $167 a month.
Growth
$495 a month: $205 for 40,000 actions and $290 for 6,000 data credits. With 10,000 data credits, $665. Billed annually, $446 a month.
Growth and up
CRM sync, HTTP API calls, data warehouse sync, web intent signals and signals sent on by webhook start on Growth.
Enterprise
Custom, on an annual commitment. Only Enterprise enriches more than 50,000 records at once; Launch and Growth hold up to 50,000 rows per table.
Actions
One for each record enriched or exported, AI run, Sequencer lead or HTTP API call, on your own API keys too. They reset each cycle and cannot be topped up: more means a higher tier.
Data credits
From $0.05 each. A top-up costs "a 30% premium", at least 250 credits. Unused ones roll over up to a month's worth, or 15% of the year's on annual billing.
Volume
Its guide sizes Growth for 1,000 to 10,000 records a month and puts a fully enriched record at 6 to 20 data credits.

Questions

About Clay
and GetSales

Anything else, ask our AI sales agent.

Talk to AI Sales
What are the best Clay alternatives?

It depends on why you are leaving. Some tools do what Clay does, and some do one part of it. Cargo is go-to-market infrastructure for coding agents, with CRM, product and enrichment data in one model. Databar is a data enrichment platform with 160+ providers, tables, waterfalls and an AI research agent. Persana AI runs AI agents over 100+ data sources, with enrichment, CRM automation and email sending of its own. FullEnrich and BetterContact are waterfall tools for work emails and phone numbers, each across 20+ sources. Apollo.io pairs 240M+ contacts with AI agents for research and outreach and a dialer. Unify runs outbound agents on intent signals, with sequences over email, calls and social. And GetSales, which finds the people and their work emails, runs the LinkedIn and email steps in one flow, and drafts the answers to replies, sent on their own or held for your OK as each scenario sets. Each description is from the vendor's own homepage, read on 26 October 2026.

How much does Clay cost?

Clay has a free plan and three paid ones. On monthly billing Launch costs $185 a month, $60 for 15,000 actions and $125 for 2,500 data credits, and Growth $495, $205 for 40,000 actions and $290 for 6,000 data credits; Growth with 10,000 data credits is $665. Billed annually they are $167 and $446 a month. Enterprise is custom, on an annual commitment. CRM sync, HTTP API calls and web intent signals start on Growth. A data credit top-up costs 30% more, and more actions mean a higher tier. Users and tables are unlimited on every plan. All read on clay.com/pricing and university.clay.com on 26 October 2026. GetSales publishes its prices on the pricing page.

What are Clay's actions and data credits?

Clay bills on two meters. Actions count the platform work: each record enriched or exported, each AI run, each lead added to a Sequencer campaign and each HTTP API call, on your own API keys too. Data credits buy the data from vendors in its marketplace: in its own example a found email costs 0.5 data credits, and its guide puts a fully enriched record at 6 to 20. A data credit starts at $0.05 and an action at under $0.01, and an enrichment that returns nothing costs neither. Actions reset each cycle and cannot be topped up, and its guide lists re-running a column and Auto-run among the causes of unexpected spend. From clay.com/pricing and university.clay.com, read on 26 October 2026. In GetSales one credit balance pays for the data and the AI work, and changing a column's settings never re-runs the rows it already paid for.

Does Clay have a free plan or a free trial?

Both. The free plan has 500 actions and 100 data credits a month and runs up to 200 rows per table, without phone number enrichment. The trial runs 14 days with 1,000 data credits and opens webhooks, CRM integrations, email sequencers and HTTP API calls, but not phone numbers. Read on clay.com/pricing and university.clay.com on 26 October 2026. Sign up free: Playtables stay free with your own API keys, and LinkedIn and email come with a 7-day trial.

Does Clay send emails or LinkedIn messages?

Email, yes: Sequencer is Clay's cold email tool, up to four emails per campaign, with Smartlead as the sending infrastructure behind it, from the Launch plan. Once a campaign is live, its steps cannot be added, removed or reordered. LinkedIn, through another tool: Clay adds a lead to a HeyReach campaign, which has to be created in HeyReach first. Sequencer tags each reply by sentiment, and a drafted answer is a workflow you build on its events table. In GetSales, connection requests with a note, messages, InMail and profile visits run from your own LinkedIn account in one workflow with the email steps, the replies from both land in one inbox, and the AI SDR drafts each answer. Clay's side read on university.clay.com on 26 October 2026.

Can GetSales replace Clay?

For a team that sells outbound on LinkedIn and email, yes. AI Search finds the people from one sentence or a link, and Creator can build the list and the campaign from one sentence, typed or said. A Playtable does the part of Clay that outbound uses: it finds each work email one finder after another, checks it, and scores and writes for every row with AI columns. Workflows then run the LinkedIn and email steps, and the AI SDR drafts each answer, in the same app on one subscription. GetSales has no data marketplace and no phone finder, so a team whose work is buying data stays better served by Clay.

Can I bring my Clay table into GetSales?

Yes, as a CSV. Export the table from Clay, and a CSV of up to 50 MB maps onto your table's columns. A person already in any table of your workspace is not added again, and people on your stoplist are marked Stoplisted and never contacted. There is no Clay integration in GetSales: the table comes in as a file, or its rows stream in by webhook.

Is Clay worth it for a small outbound team?

It depends on how much of the work is the data. For a team of three that writes to 3,000 new people a month, Clay's own guide points to Growth, $495 a month on monthly billing, and the LinkedIn steps and the replies still need tools of their own. G2's own summary of its reviews, dated May 2026, names a steep learning curve and the cost, and on Trustpilot, in reviews from March to October 2026, several describe credits spent faster than they expected. The stack comparison on this page prices the tools that team needs, each from its vendor's own page, against one GetSales plan.
